I got this set because I want to try the lighter and softer color. The dark color from this brand is really good, but once it comes to the light color, it is not an ideal nail lacquer to go with. I had a hard time applying this nail lacquer on my nails. I had to reapply so many times to get a smooth color/texture on my fingers. My skin is quite fair, and these four colors are definitely not the best match to my skin. This set, which comes in four mini bottles, is perfect wear on fingers or toes. The colors are quite pretty and "sedate" enough to be worn in a professional environment. Essie does have another collection out specifically for weddings, but this set would work equally well. This would make a cute gift for someone who likes classic colors or if they love adding to their polish rainbow (like me!). The mini bottles are a great size for someone who doesn't use polish often or for someone who has so many that they tend to go bad before they are fully used. Two coats are needed to get the best color.
